It's the best for those who are seeking for earthy, natural colors. These eyeshadows are of really good consistency, they go on smoothly and stay on all day long, and give you a really "glossy" look. I guess I have normal skin type, but it tends to be dry sometimes, including my eyes. I went through many eyeshadows from different companies, and using them on a regular basis, my eyes became very dry, regardless that i moisturize my eyes all the time. So as always, I was going to the "natural products" zone in a local beauty centre/store, to buy my skin care products, and noticed the NVEY counter. I was using natural mineral make-up before, but I've never thought that using natural eyeshadows can make such a big difference as well. I'm always going for the natural look, and use make-up to enhance my natural beauty, never to look like i have applied make-up heavily. Having a darker skin tone, and darker eyelids, I've been always using combinations of different shades of brown, so this palette caught my eye firstly by it's good choice of colors. I found all of them useful, and using it for 2 days i can say that my eyes are so smooth like they never been before, since i started using make up! The first shade (152) is something between creamy-pinkish beige, it's similiar to old rose, which is a good, light natural color which will suit every skin tone. When applying, you could make it lighter near the eye, then darker in the center of your eyelid, and working your way up to your eyebrow use even lighter strokes with your brush. It will give a nice "tone" to your eyes and make them stand out naturally. The second shade (153) is a sand color, which works well if applied on your eyelid only, lightly finishing with it in the center of your eyelid so it will blend in easily with the first shade. The third one (155) is a brownish-burgundy color (i think it was called "cordovan"), which is really nice to use to actually "form" the shadowing of your eye, I'd suggest applying it at the edge of your eye, working your way up to the tail of your brow, and then blend it in lightly at the edges with your fingers. You could also play with smudging it a little under your eye (in the edge area), to create a more evening look with smoky eyes. The fourth is a shimmering pale taupe color, unlike others, which are matte, this has a little glittery color, which is really great to use for "sculpting" the eye form, highlighting it's shape, or just add a nice finish to your make up. I found it works really well when applied to the corner of your eye, very lightly, almost if you're applying an eye liner. It will really draw attention to your eyes, and will look very, very natural and professional at the same time. These were just suggestions, and i hope i was helpful for those who want more natural colors. It's a real treat for your eyes if you have dry skin, since it wont make it even more drier. These eyeshadows are really light, and it feels like you don't have any make up on, which i really love about these. This product is definitely worth a try!
