I bought the studio beauty kit through dinair directly because you can pick which colors you want. Because I'm impatient, I didn't bother watching any videos including the disc that comes with it. Ha, boy did I look stupid. I used way too much make up and looked like a clown. The second time I got a little better, but it still came out heavy and unnatural looking on me. I was all set to return it when I decided to finally pop the disc in the computer then sit for a couple of hours watching some other youtube videos on application techniques.
I'm so glad I did! I went from looking like a clown and it taking forever, to a flawless natural look in u under 5 minutes (they claim 2 but unless you're speedy gonzalez there's no way to move that fast). My favorite piece they included was the moist and dewey. Without it you'll look washed out and crusty. Just one drop of that stuff and shoot it on your cheeks, lips, and the corners of your eyes and BAM a beautiful you.
As of today (5 days since receiving my kit), I've only perfected the foundation/lips/moist and dewey. I chose a light brown for my brows but it's too dark and makes me look so silly. Also I should have chosen more eye shadow colors. The one I did pick (barely pink) is way too shimmery. That is what brought me to amazon. I was looking to pay less to try out some of their colors.
